How we work
Ad-hoc advice £150/hr. No lock-in on one-off work. Retainers have a 3-month minimum, then run month-to-month (cancel with a month's notice). All fees exclude VAT. Every engagement is handled in strict confidence. A full rate card is available on request.
AI is fine for a first draft — but a Stanford study found leading models get specific legal questions wrong 58–88% of the time and can't reliably tell when they're wrong. AI doesn't know your business, your contracts or the law that applies to you, and when it costs you there's no one accountable and no insurance behind it. Use AI to understand; use a human to decide.

I bring ten years of professional experience, including five years at a leading global law firm across its Restructuring & Insolvency and Pro Bono teams. I specialise in distressed and disputed SMEs — businesses under financial or legal pressure. I draw on that same expertise when working with early-stage and scaling businesses: because I've seen how and why things go wrong, I spot the pitfalls early and help you build to avoid them. My work spans restructuring and rescue, commercial contracts and negotiations, and mediation and alternative dispute resolution. I'm legally educated and trained, and a qualified, accredited civil & commercial mediator. I work with every client confidentially, fairly and with genuine empathy — moving quickly, and always protecting your position.
